Momma Lilac’s colony

Lincoln (white/black male), Lorna (black female), and Luna (calico female) are the three kittens of mum Lilac who was spayed several months ago after her kittens were old enough.

This little family was found in an alleyway just outside of Athens centre. They were born into a small size colony with 4 other adult cats who were also spayed/neutered along with their mum, Lilac.

The alleyway where they live is very friendly to them and the neighbours feed them regularly. The kittens were therefore semi-friendly, but the neighbours just couldn’t catch them and help get them to the vet on their own.

Mum Lilac had been having litter after litter here for years. Finally, her and her last litter of kittens will be sterilised so they can live a happier, healthier, more peaceful life here together.
