It’s showtime! The most popular, hilarious, playful four-pawed internet stars from around the world are coming soon to a screen near you.
On Saturday March 28, NGO Nine Lives Greece – οι Εφτάψυχες, in collaboration with PurinaONE and the Walker Art Center, USA, presents Athens’ Second Annual ‘Internet Cat Video Festival’, hosted at Nixon Bar in Kerameikos.
The Festival, which will be introduced by PurinaONE ambassador, actress and cat-lover Jenny Theona, opens its doors at 3pm for three screenings. The first is at 4pm, the second at 6pm and the final showing at 8pm. Entry tickets cost 4 euros for adults (2 euros for children), on a first-come, first-served basis.
Come along for a pawesome afternoon of feline fun, enjoying Nixon’s famed brunch menu, bar snacks, coffee, wine or cocktails. Cat souvenirs will be available on sale, as well as goodies for your furry friends courtesy of PurinaONE. All proceeds from the event go straight into veterinary care and feeding programmes for street cat colonies.
The Internet Cat Video Festival is produced and curated by the Walker Art Center. The Festival was set up in 2012 in Minneapolis, USA, by the Walker Art Center. Their second edition, in 2013, launched a world tour brought to Greece by Nine Lives Greece for the first time in February 2014.
